Matching pair of Sheraton revival style armchairs crafted in mahogany timber. Two splats to the upright square back with a single central oval shaped medallion adorned with an inlaid floral design surrounded by carved acanthus leaves is resting above four tapered splats. A small scroll shaped carved design sits elegantly above the top rail. Two arms with an arched shaped support extend down to square tapered legs. Fine inlaid satinwood stringing and an upholstered seat. Nice original condition for their age, minor blemishes. The Sheraton style is well known for its light and elegant appearance.
